Dyersburg High School held its annual Senior Night for volleyball on September 9. Seniors Avery Prestridge and Madilynn Pierce were walked out and congratulated by their friends and family.
The Dyersburg Lady Trojans played the South Side High School Hawks and came out with a 3-0 win. The two seniors played alongside their teammates for their last year to overcome their adversaries.
They came out with a sweep in the first set scoring 25 against South Side’s 14. The following set was a tight game but the Lady Trojans managed to pull out a win with a close 25 to 22 score.
Finishing up the last set, it appears the Lady Trojans finished off strong pulling in a 25 to 10 score resulting in their victory. Based on the stats of tonight’s game, the seniors have left their mark on this year's volleyball season.
