Echoing through the halls of Dyersburg High School comes a trumpet sound; here comes the DHS band. During the beginning of last week, it was revealed that a pep rally scheduled on Friday, November 19th before the Dyersburg-Covington playoff game, could not be held in the gym because of a routine floor waxing. At the beginning of Dyersburg High School’s 7th hour, students lined the halls as the pep rally came to them. Members of the DHS band, football team, cheer team, and dance team paraded through the halls in a “hype” fashion. Although in a unique fashion, all the Trojans were hyped and ready to pull the plug on the chargers.
