In the second, the boys picked up the already fast momentum, dropping 20 points in that quarter alone. Ward scored 8 points, Travon Smiles scored 3, Marcus Whorton scored 2, and Turnage dropped 8 points. By this point, our boys were up 7, but determined to keep going.
By the third, the boys had kept the momentum going and scored another 18 points, making the outcome of this game easy to predict. Ward dropped 6, Cobb landed 5, Cameron Rhines scored a free throw point, Isaiah Thomas scored 2, and Turnage dropped 2 points. This quarter was easily the quarter that determined the big win, as the Choctaws seemed to be slowing down with scoring points.

By the end of the fourth and final quarter, the Trojan Boys had scored a whopping 73 points, further proving that they came to win and were all willing to do whatever it took to do so.
The Trojans won this blowout game with a score of 73- 51, earning the title of District 13AAA champions. Will Short, Breyden Turnage, and Marcus Whorton were named part of the District all-academic team, showing their hard work on and off the court. Turnage, Jeff Cobb, and Jace Ward were named part of the all-tournament team, exemplifying their great game strategy and play throughout the season.
