Trojan Baseball concludes season with district tournament

The Dyersburg Trojan Baseball team concluded their season with the annual district tournament. The Trojans opened tournament play against Crockett County and suffered a tough loss putting them into the losers bracket. The Trojans followed the loss to Crockett with a 2-1 nail bitter win over Obion County. The Trojans concluded their season with a loss against Crockett in the semi final game of the district tournament. Awarded at the conclusion of the tournament was Tyler Lawson (All Tournament Team) Taylor Dunn (All District Team) Brady Byars (All District Team) Jordan Williamson (All District Team) and Breyden Turnage who was awarded All Tournament Team and All District Team as well as being named District 13AAA Player of the Year.
