The Christmas spirit is spreading quickly through Dyersburg! Families are setting up their trees and lights, kids are hoping for snow days, and parents are already present shopping. Though even despite all this Christmas cheer, there’s one magical place in our town that always outdoes itself every year, Sorghum Valley’s Christmas Village.
This beautiful time capsule always has glimmering lights, towering Christmas trees, and much more. It’s an event many look forward to when the air starts to get chilly. It brings in many families every year, with this year bringing in over 800 visitors. Guests are greeted with hot chocolate, a tree-decorating competition, and even a visit from St. Nick himself! Sorghum Valley is one of the many community projects that give a lasting impression on those who visit, giving them an experience they’ll want to feel for years to come!
