Seniors visit former teachers

Victoria Golden - Reporter

Dyersburg High School had their annual Senior Walk on May 17. The seniors walked through the halls of DPS, greeting the little kids and past teachers. “As I walked through each school, I began to think about my times there. I was amazed at how fast it all went and thought about how in a blink of an eye those kids sitting in those places will take our place,” Senior Makaya Moody said, as she reflected on how it felt to walk through the Halls again. This tradition is a bittersweet moment for all seniors. Though they are moving on to a new chapter of their lives, they still get to look back on what they had to do to get to where they are today. “I will for sure miss DHS. I have many memories in the building, but what I'm going to miss the most is the people that make Dyersburg High School what it is. Dyersburg has wonderful people and I am really grateful for the kindness that so many people here have given me,” senior Caroline Dedmon said.

DHS graduation ceremony will be held on May 19, 2023 at 7 p.m.
