In the last game against Covington, the kicker, senior Grant Self, was kicking a field goal. Covington's defensive player ran into Self which gave the DHS football team another chance and moved them up to the two-yard line.
The ball was then run to senior Darius Harris. Senior Dantavis Vaughn then scored a touchdown.
The game against Covington tonight could be very close. Both teams are very skilled and determined to win no matter what. Tonight Dyersburg is said to take home the win since they have been through many difficult games.
Both teams are inspired by their peers and family to win. The Trojan football team feels they are going to win because they are prepared and get better every time they play and practice.
