On December 10, 2022, DHS Student Council hosted the annual Miss DHS dance. The dance was a formal winter event held in the atrium from 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm. A family dance was also held for members of the Miss DHS court to enjoy with their family members. Approximately 265 students from every grade level attended with their friends and dates while enjoying a fun time dancing and taking pictures.
At 7:00 pm, the event of the night took place: the crowning of Mr. and Miss DHS and her court. First maid elected was junior Anna Fisher and second maid was junior Hannah Morris. Seniors Grayson Carr and Chloe Sanders were crowned as 2022 Mr. and Miss DHS.
The rest of the night was filled with dancing, pictures, and having fun with friends for students and chaperones alike. Overall, Miss DHS 2022 was deemed a success and a night to remember for all.
