Lady Trojans defeat DC for fourth time, become region champs

The Lady Trojans defeated the Dyer County Lady Choctaws for the 4th time to become region champions. The Lady Trojans trailed after the first half 19-21. The game remained close through the third quarter in a defensive battle. The Trojans pulled away in the fourth quarter to win 51-44. The leading scorer for the Lady Trojans was Chelby Jordan with 15 points. Chelby Jordan and Netala Dixon were named to the all-tournament team and Joya Crawford was named the region tournament MVP. The Lady Trojans move on to host substate against Melrose at 6pm Saturday.
