The DHS Lady Trojan soccer team cruised past South Gibson Thursday night with a score of 4-0. The team was led by Virginia Kerber scoring a brace, Addie Hurt scoring a goal, as well as an own goal by South Gibson. Makaya Moody also had an assist. The defense was led by goalie McKenzie Duggan, keeping a clean sheet. The team now has a 16-2 record going into region play.
“They worked hard all week and the whole season. They came out to play and they made us all proud. Trojan Nation is very proud tonight” head coach Musa Manneh said.
The Lady Trojans will begin region tournament play on Tuesday, October 18th, when they will host Chester County at JC Sawyers Stadium.
