The Lady Trojans traveled across town to face off against the Lady Choctaws at Dyer County High School in a game that wasn’t even a game.
In the first quarter, Dyersburg was rolling all over those Choctaws. Strayhorn had 11 points with three 3-point attempts falling for her. Dyer County only scored four points in the first which made the score 24-4 at the end of the first.
The second quarter wasn’t much different. Strayhorn hit another three-pointer but Jordan and Crawford combined for 13 points to help the Black and Gold run all over the Choctaws. At the end of the first, the Lady Trojans were up by 28, scoring 45-17.
In the third quarter, The Black and Gold had spread out scoring with four of their five starters scoring over four points each to help keep the huge lead of 65-34.
The fourth quarter started and there wasn't much happening for either team. The Lady Choctaws had been waiting for that game to end since they first stepped on the floor. The Lady Trojans got the sweep of the year against Dyer County with a big win 73-43.
