"Hawkeye" shot down

The recently released Disney Plus Marvel show, “Hawkeye”, is being boycotted in support of artist David Aja. David Aja is a comic book artist who worked on the 2012 Hawkeye comics.

The Disney Plus show takes inspiration from the 2012 run of comics. The show follows Kate Bishop and Clint Barton, Hawkeye, as they navigate through a post Blip New York during Christmas time.

Aja’s art style can be seen in the marketing of the show and the show itself. The official poster is almost the same as the comics. Although the show’s clear influence is from the comics, Aja is getting no credit or money for his work.

Plenty of fans are upset over Aja getting no credit. Fans have brought their displeasure over to Twitter. They are now trying to boycott the show until Aja gets credit. Disney nor Marvel have made comments about giving credit.
