This past Thursday, September 23, Dyersburg and Dyer County FFA Chapters volunteered at the Healing Horses annual Farm to Table event. This event was hosted in the city's Farmers Market. Healing Horses invited Special Needs students and their parents to eat at this event while the local FFA chapters waited on them. Chapter members welcomed guests, passed out favors, served food, and cleaned afterward. Healing Horses got a different restaurant to cater each part of the meal: Coby Jo’s Diner, Locks Grocery, Jordan’s Grab and Go, and Moustos. There was a large turn-out from the FFA chapters, having more than enough help for the Healing Horses event.
