On Thursday, September 26, the Dyersburg Trojan Football team hosted Jackson Northside in a regular season football game. Right after kickoff, Northside scored a touchdown, worrying fans and spirit squads. However, the Trojans quickly picked up the pace and won the game 37 to 26, making their overall record 4-2. The DHS football team was supported by the cheerleaders and dancers on the sideline, even with a storm inching toward Dyersburg. This storm was the reason for the game day change, but that did not stop the Trojans from winning, nor did it stop the crowd from coming to support them! The next football game will be at home against Westview on October 4.
