The Dyersburg High School Dance Team went to the NDA Regional dance competition at Henderson County High School in Kentucky. For the first time ever, they placed 1st in all three divisions: Game day, small varsity pom, and varsity kick.
“It felt very deserving for us to win. We worked super hard and we were not really expecting to get first. We are competing in a lower level competition, so it was different for us. I was very excited to win though, and I am very proud of my team.” sophomore Kyla Fowlkes said.
Their next stop is NDA Nationals in Orlando, FL. They will be competing in small varsity pom and small varsity game day.
