On September 27, 2024, Dyersburg High School continued with their pep rally, despite having the date for their homecoming rescheduled due to severe weather. Students played the Tootsie Roll Float, similar to a table surfing game, and Snake, in which students create a “snake” by placing a balloon in between each other without using their hands. The DHS Dance, Step and Cheer teams performed for the students and faculty as well. Although the change in plans disrupted our date for the crowning of the Homecoming Queen and her maids, DHS was still able to celebrate its victory in the home game against the Indians.
