On January 20, 2023, sophomore Joya Crawford hit 1000 career points against Poplar Bluff. Crawford is also a candidate for Tennessee Class AAA Miss Basketball.
“Joya Crawford isn’t only a great basketball player, she’s a great person as well. Joya just keeps getting better every year! I’m so blessed to be a part of the process of watching her grow up!” Lady Trojans head coach Tim Strayhorn said.
Crawford will add to her career stats Friday, Jan 27 against Dyer County.
