Art students liven up the commons

Abby Borden - Online Editor / photographer

Photographed above are art students completing a mural for the commons at Dyersburg High School! The Advanced Art and Ceramics class was tasked with collaborating to create the layout and design of the mural as well as working together to accomplish the final product. The class is taught by art teacher Sarah Myint, who works hard to provide her students with the materials and encouragement they need to put their most creative ideas on the wall for all students and staff to enjoy.

Myint also sponsors the Art Club at DHS, which periodically meets after school and helps with any task needed to finish the mural. The project is on track to be finished by the end of the first semester of the 2023 - 2024 school year. Way to go, art students!
